Dungeon Lootr Forge Guide: All Materials and Upgrades

Updated 2026-09-08 · Last verified 2026-09-08 · Roblox Dungeon Lootr

The Forge in Dungeon Lootr has four operations: Upgrade, Reforge, Protect and Enhance, and it runs on thirteen confirmed material types ranging from Iron Scrap up to Heavenly Fragment. Reforge is the only one whose mechanic is documented outright: it rerolls all of an item's affixes and consumes a Reforge Stone to do it.

Everything else about the Forge is thinner than competing wikis admit. ClickBytes has published no material costs, no success rates and no upgrade tables, and the two Dungeon Lootr wikis that do not fabricate data both stop short of giving numbers here. This page lists what is actually confirmed, names the sources behind each entry, and says plainly where the gaps are.

The four Forge operations

OperationWhat it doesCostConfidence
UpgradeRaises an item's power levelNot documentedOperation confirmed by both reliable wikis
ReforgeRerolls all affixes on one item1 Reforge StoneMechanic and cost both confirmed
ProtectSafeguard applied to a Forge attemptNot documentedName confirmed, effect undocumented
EnhanceSeparate power-increase path from UpgradeNot documentedName confirmed, effect undocumented

Upgrade

Upgrade is the ordinary progression lever on a piece of gear. It raises the item's level, which feeds Gear Score. What no source documents is the material cost per level, whether cost scales with the item's rarity, whether upgrades can fail, and what happens to the item if they do. Sites that print a per-level material table for Dungeon Lootr are inventing it. There is no published source for one.

Reforge

Reforge is the clearest of the four. It consumes a Reforge Stone and rerolls every affix on the selected item at once. Two consequences follow directly from that description. First, you cannot lock a good affix and reroll around it, so a piece with one excellent affix and three poor ones is a gamble every time you touch it. Second, Reforge changes an item's affixes but not its underlying tier, so it is a way to fix a bad roll on good gear, not a way to promote weak gear.

Reforge is where most player time goes once a build is settled, because affixes are what make a stat build work rather than raw item level.

Protect

Protect is confirmed as a Forge operation by name in both reliable wikis, and by nothing else. What it protects against is not documented in numeric or mechanical terms anywhere. The obvious reading is that it insures an Upgrade attempt against failure, since Upgrade is the only operation with an implied risk, but that is an inference and we are flagging it as one rather than presenting it as fact. If you see a site stating a protection chance, a shield duration or a cost in Forge Stones, that number has no source behind it.

Enhance

Enhance sits alongside Upgrade as a fourth, separately named operation, which strongly implies it does something Upgrade does not. Neither wiki documents what. It is not confirmed whether Enhance targets affix strength, adds sockets, raises a cap, or converts an item between tiers. This is the single largest unanswered question about the Forge, and it is worth saying that no competing wiki has answered it either. The ones that appear to have answered it have simply written something plausible.

Every Forge material

Thirteen material types are confirmed. The source column reflects how well documented the drop is, not how common the item feels.

MaterialUsed forWhere it comes from
Iron ScrapLow-tier forgingNot documented
Iron OreLow-tier forgingNot documented
Gold OreMid-tier forgingNot documented
Infernal OreHigher-tier forgingNot documented

Relic Shattered ArmorRelic gear craftingNot documented
Radiant OreEndgame forgingIgris, Challenge Dungeon wave 20
Exotic OreEndgame forgingIcarus, Challenge Dungeon wave 30, about 35%
Heavenly FragmentEndgame forging and class unlocksChallenge Dungeon

Two clarifications on that table. The Ingot line runs from Epic through Celestial, which lines up with four of the six rarity tiers in the game's Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Celestial, Exotic ladder. The mapping of one ingot per tier is a reading of the naming, not a documented rule. And Relic Shattered Armor is recorded as a material name, while Exotic Shattered Armor is recorded separately as an Icarus drop. Whether those are two tiers of one material family or two distinct items is not documented.

The three ores worth planning around

Radiant Ore, Exotic Ore and Heavenly Fragment are the only Forge materials with a confirmed, specific source, and all three come from the same mode.

  • Radiant Ore drops from Igris, the Scarlet Knight, at wave 20 of the Challenge Dungeon, together with a Bronze Key.
  • Exotic Ore drops from Icarus, a hidden encounter at wave 30 of the same mode, at a reported rate of around 35 per cent, alongside Exotic Shattered Armor.
  • Heavenly Fragment is sourced to the Challenge Dungeon, which is also the main source of Aspect Gems for the aspect system.

The Challenge Dungeon unlocks at level 55. That single number does more to gate the Forge than any material cost, because until you reach it the endgame half of the material table is closed to you.

Class Fragments: forging Exotic classes

Three of the game's Exotic classes are forged rather than spun. The fragments come from Boss Rush, which runs 100 floors across three separate boss routes and is recommended from around level 67.

BossRoute and floorFragments per clearClass forged
AstaAsta route, floors 80 / 90 / 1008 to 18Anti Magic
GojoGojo route, floor 1008 to 18Honored One
SukunaSukuna route, floor 1008 to 18Cursed King

The 8 to 18 range is confirmed. The total fragment requirement per class is not. That gap matters more than it looks, because a range on the drop plus an unknown on the requirement means the honest answer to "how many runs does Cursed King take" is that nobody outside ClickBytes knows. Asta is the only one of the three with fragment drops recorded below floor 100, which makes Anti Magic the most approachable of the trio if that record is accurate.

These three feed further up the chain. Unrestricted, a Celestial class rather than an Exotic one despite frequent mislabelling, requires level 75, 500,000 coins, Honored One at class level 25, and 10 Heavenly Fragments. That makes Honored One a prerequisite investment rather than an endpoint. Full roster on the classes page, rankings on the tier list.

Relic gear: King's Crown, Living Armor, Supernova Ring

Three Relic pieces forge into endgame equipment:

  • King's Crown
  • Living Armor
  • Supernova Ring

Their names map cleanly onto the game's three equipment slots of Head, Body and Ring, which suggests they form a complete endgame set covering one slot each. That reading is an inference from the names and the slot system, not a documented statement, and no source confirms a set bonus for wearing all three.

What is not documented for any of the three: the exact recipe, the material quantities, the level or Gear Score requirement, and the stat lines they roll. Relic Shattered Armor is the material most obviously associated with them by name, but even that link is not stated outright in a source we trust.

The Auto Forge game pass

Auto Forge is one of ten game passes confirmed directly through the Roblox API, alongside x2 Drop Rate, Extra Loot, Increased Luck, Double Player EXP, Double Class EXP, Aspect Hunter, VIP, V3 Secret Gamepass and I'll be back. The API confirms the pass exists and what it is called. It does not tell us the price or the exact behaviour, and no reliable wiki documents either.

Given that the Forge loop involves repeated attempts on the same item, a pass named Auto Forge is most plausibly a convenience automation rather than an outcome modifier, but treat that as reasoning rather than fact. Nothing in any source suggests it improves results, only that it removes clicks.

The gaps, stated plainly

This is the part every other Dungeon Lootr forge page gets wrong, so it is worth being blunt about it. None of the following is documented by ClickBytes or by any source we consider reliable:

  • Material quantities for any upgrade level, on any item, at any rarity
  • Whether upgrades can fail, and at what rate
  • What Protect actually protects against, in mechanical or numeric terms
  • What Enhance does that Upgrade does not
  • Total Class Fragment requirements for Anti Magic, Honored One or Cursed King
  • Recipes for King's Crown, Living Armor and Supernova Ring
  • Drop sources for Iron Scrap, Iron Ore, Gold Ore, Infernal Ore, Reforge Stones and the Ingot line

If a page hands you a tidy table of "materials required per upgrade level" or a "forge success rate by tier", it is not reporting game data. There is none to report. The same applies to spin probabilities elsewhere on the site: ClickBytes has not published rates for anything.

Practical order of operations

Working from what is confirmed rather than what is guessed:

  1. Reach level 55. The Challenge Dungeon is the only confirmed source for Radiant Ore, Exotic Ore and Heavenly Fragments. See the levelling guide.
  2. Bank Heavenly Fragments early. Ten of them are a hard requirement for Unrestricted, on top of the Honored One prerequisite.
  3. Reforge last, not first. Rerolling all affixes on a low-level item wastes Reforge Stones on gear you will replace.
  4. Redeem RAIDTIME for five Forge Stone Bundles. Join the ClickBytes group first or nothing redeems. See codes.
  5. Run Boss Rush from around level 67 if you want a forged Exotic class, and expect the fragment count to be unknowable until ClickBytes documents it.

Update log

  • 8 September 2026: Page created after UPDATE 1. Four Forge operations and the thirteen-material list cross-checked against both reliable Dungeon Lootr wikis. All undocumented values left blank rather than estimated. We re-check after each Saturday content drop, with Update 1.5 expected 12 September.

Frequently asked questions

What does Reforge do in Dungeon Lootr?

Reforge rerolls all of the affixes on a single piece of gear and consumes a Reforge Stone to do it. It is the only operation confirmed to change which affixes an item has rather than how strong the item is. Because it rerolls the whole affix set at once, you cannot keep one good affix and reroll the rest.

What does Protect do at the Forge?

Protect is one of the four confirmed Forge operations, but neither of the two reliable Dungeon Lootr wikis documents what it protects against or what it costs. It is almost certainly a safeguard attached to an upgrade attempt, since that is the only operation with a stated risk of loss, but that reading is not confirmed. Treat any site that gives you a protection percentage as guessing.

Where do you get Radiant Ore and Exotic Ore?

Radiant Ore drops from Igris, the Scarlet Knight, at wave 20 of the Challenge Dungeon, alongside a Bronze Key. Exotic Ore drops from Icarus, a hidden boss at wave 30 of the same mode, at a reported rate of roughly 35 per cent, together with Exotic Shattered Armor. The Challenge Dungeon unlocks at level 55.

How many Class Fragments do you need for Anti Magic, Honored One or Cursed King?

The total required is not documented anywhere we trust. What is confirmed is the drop side: Sukuna, Gojo and Asta each give 8 to 18 Class Fragments per clear on their respective Boss Rush routes. Because the requirement is unknown and the drop is a range, nobody can honestly tell you how many runs it takes.

Is the Auto Forge game pass worth buying?

Auto Forge is one of ten game passes confirmed through the Roblox API, so it definitely exists, but its exact behaviour and price are not documented in any source we consider reliable. It is a convenience pass rather than a power pass, since the Forge is a repeated-click loop. Nothing suggests it changes upgrade outcomes.

Are there codes that give Forge materials?

Yes. RAIDTIME grants five Forge Stone Bundles and is listed as active by four independent outlets as of 7 September 2026. You must join the ClickBytes group before any code will redeem, and codes are case sensitive. Full list on the codes page.
