Dungeon Lootr Leveling Guide: Max Level 175 and Mastery

Updated 2026-09-08 · Last verified 2026-09-08 · Roblox Dungeon Lootr

Dungeon Lootr runs two separate progression tracks and they level independently. Your player level caps at 175, per the official Roblox game description, and it is what gates content: the Challenge Dungeon at 55, a comfortable Boss Rush run around 67, the Unrestricted unlock at 75. Your class level is tracked separately for each class and feeds that class's Mastery track, which upgrades individual skills at fixed breakpoints.

That split is confirmed by the developer's own store listing, which advertises two different EXP bonuses for Premium Plus players: +5% Player EXP and +10% Class EXP. Everything below separates the two, flags which numbers are confirmed and which are not, and is explicit about the large parts of levelling that ClickBytes has simply never documented.

Max level: why 175 and not 100

The official Roblox game description for Dungeon Lootr contains the literal line Max Player Level: 175. That is a first-party listing written by the developer and shown on the game's own store page, which makes it the strongest evidence available for any number in this game.

At least one secondary write-up reports the cap as 100 instead. We are noting the disagreement rather than hiding it, because this is the page where it matters, but the resolution is not close: a third-party summary of a game does not outrank the developer's own description of it. Secondary coverage of Dungeon Lootr has been demonstrably behind on other facts, most visibly the class roster, where three separate fan wikis still list the pre-UPDATE 1 line-up and miss all four of the classes added on 7 September 2026. See the class list and the UPDATE 1 notes for that comparison.

One plausible reconciliation, which we flag as speculation and not fact: 100 may have been the cap in an earlier build, with 175 arriving in a later patch. No patch note we can verify says so, and ClickBytes has not published the raw UPDATE 1 text, so we are not asserting it. Use 175.

Player level gates worth planning around

These are the level requirements that appear in more than one source. Everything not on this list is undocumented, including the level requirements, if any, for the mid-game dungeons.

Two notes on that table. Boss Rush is described in the sources as a level 67 recommendation rather than a hard gate, so treat it as the point where the 100 floors stop punishing you, not as a locked door. And the Unrestricted chain is worth reading as a whole: it is the only unlock that demands player level, currency, a class level on a specific other class and a rare material at once. Full detail on both modes is on Boss Rush and the Challenge Dungeon pages.

EXP sources and multipliers

Only the multipliers are confirmed. The underlying EXP values are not.

The two EXP passes are separate purchases and sit alongside eight other passes in the same list, including x2 Drop Rate, Extra Loot, Increased Luck, Auto Forge and Aspect Hunter. Whether the Premium Plus bonus and a Double EXP pass stack multiplicatively, additively or at all is not stated anywhere.

The honest position on difficulty is worth stating plainly, because competing pages guess at it: Normal, Hard and Nightmare are confirmed to exist, and they clearly gate loot, since Varek drops the Nature Plate on Hard and the Awakened Devil only appears on Nightmare. It is reasonable to assume harder runs pay more EXP. No source documents that, and we are not printing a multiplier for it.

One historical curiosity that occasionally confuses searchers: Dungeon Lootr previously ran level-milestone codes named LEVEL_30, LEVEL_40 and LEVEL_50. All three are long expired and no current code rewards EXP. The live list is on the codes page.

Class levels and the Mastery track

Every class carries its own level, and levelling one does nothing for the other 32. With 33 classes live after UPDATE 1, that is the real long game once player level stops moving.

Class levels feed Mastery, which awards fixed bonuses at set levels rather than points you spend. The breakpoint template below is documented in detail for Shinobi, where two fully independent sources, dungeon-lootr.wiki and Roonby, list identical values down to the percentages. That agreement is why we treat the template shape as reliable.

Mastery levelBonus typeShinobi's documented example
5First skill upgradeFlash Rend +20%
7Flat stat gain+4 Strength
10Second skill upgradeKurogiri +20%
15Third skill upgradeGuillotine Drop +20%
17Global utility bonusAll skill cooldowns reduced by 5%
20Fourth skill upgradeOni Rend +20%

Read that as a template, not as a promise that every class uses the same numbers. What two sources agree on is the pattern: skill damage upgrades at 5, 10, 15 and 20, a raw stat at 7, and a cooldown reduction at 17. Per-class values beyond Shinobi are thinly documented, and where a single wiki gives numbers no one else repeats, we say so on the individual class pages.

Mastery does not stop at 20. The title "The Storm" is reported to come from Awakened Devil EX at Mastery 50, though that sits at low to moderate confidence on a single reporting chain. What Mastery levels 21 to 50 award in between is not documented for any class.

Two class levels function as hard requirements rather than pure upgrades. Honored One at class level 25 is one of the four Unrestricted prerequisites, and Azure Devil at level 50 is part of the Awakened Devil EX chain. If you intend to reach Unrestricted, Honored One needs deliberate levelling, which in turn means Boss Rush on the Gojo lane, since that is where the fragments that build Honored One come from.

Where the levelling actually happens

The dungeon order is confirmed across sources: Bandit's Den, Goblin's Stronghold, Forgotten Ruins, The Catacombs, Frostspire Bastion, Underworld Gate. No source publishes a player level requirement for any of them, so progress through the chain by clear capability rather than by a number.

Standard dungeons run the extract-or-lose-all loop, which is the core risk of the game: fail to extract and the run's loot is gone. That makes early levelling cheaper if you bank gear often instead of pushing deep. From player level 55 the Challenge Dungeon changes the shape of the grind, since its wave format puts a boss every ten waves, with Igris at wave 20 and the hidden Icarus encounter at wave 30. From roughly 67, Boss Rush becomes the better class-level engine, because class item drops begin at floor 40 and the three 100-floor lanes end at Sukuna, Gojo and Asta.

Alongside the dungeons, the game runs a Training Area, a rotating Merchant, a Battle Pass and daily and weekly quests. All four are confirmed to exist. None of them has a published EXP reward, so we cannot tell you whether the daily quests are worth the detour.

For stat allocation as you level, Dungeon Lootr uses four stats: Strength for physical damage, Dexterity for ranged, Intelligence for magic and Vitality for health. The stats page covers which classes scale with which, and the beginner guide covers the first few hours in order.

What is genuinely undocumented

This is the section competing wikis fill with invented numbers. We are leaving it empty on purpose.

  • The EXP curve. No source gives EXP required per level, for either track.
  • EXP per dungeon, per floor or per wave. Not published for any activity.
  • Difficulty EXP scaling. Normal, Hard and Nightmare are confirmed; their EXP difference is not.
  • Time to max level. There is no credible hours-to-175 figure in existence. Any page giving one is estimating and not saying so.
  • Whether EXP multipliers stack. Premium Plus plus a Double EXP pass is an obvious question with no published answer.
  • Mastery levels 21 to 49. Only the 5 to 20 template and a single Mastery 50 title report exist.
  • Class level retention. Whether class levels persist if you re-roll away from a class and back is not documented.

ClickBytes ships new content most Saturdays, and Update 1.5 is scheduled for 12 September 2026 at 20:00 UTC. If any of the above gets published, this page changes the same week.

Update log

  • 8 September 2026: Page created. Max level recorded as 175 from the official Roblox description, with the competing report of 100 noted and rejected. Gates at 55, 67 and 75 confirmed against multiple sources. Mastery template recorded from two independent sources that agree on Shinobi's values.

Frequently asked questions

What is the max level in Dungeon Lootr?

The official Roblox game description states "Max Player Level: 175". At least one secondary write-up reports a cap of 100, but the developer's own store listing is the stronger source, so 175 is the figure this wiki uses. If a patch changed the cap, the change is not documented anywhere we can verify.

Is class level the same as player level?

No. Player level is account-wide and gates content such as the Challenge Dungeon and the Unrestricted unlock. Class level is per class and feeds that class's Mastery track, which upgrades individual skills at fixed breakpoints. The official description confirms the split by listing separate Player EXP and Class EXP bonuses.

What level do you need for the Challenge Dungeon?

Player level 55, confirmed across multiple independent sources. The Challenge Dungeon is wave based with a boss every ten waves, and it is the main documented source of Aspect Gems, Heavenly Fragments and Exotic materials, so it is the single most valuable gate to reach.

How do you get more EXP in Dungeon Lootr?

Three multipliers are confirmed. Roblox Premium Plus players earn +5% Player EXP and +10% Class EXP per the official description, and two separate game passes, Double Player EXP and Double Class EXP, appear in the game's live pass list. ClickBytes has not published EXP values for any activity, so no source can say which dungeon pays best.

How long does it take to reach level 175?

Nobody has published a credible figure. The EXP curve, the EXP awarded per dungeon run and the effect of Normal, Hard and Nightmare difficulty on EXP are all undocumented. Any wiki quoting an hours-to-max number is estimating, and we will not print one until a source exists.

What do I need for the Unrestricted class?

Player level 75, 500,000 coins, Honored One at class level 25 and 10 Heavenly Fragments. This chain is confirmed by more than one source. Note that Unrestricted is Celestial rarity, not Exotic, which several competing pages get wrong.
