Dungeon Lootr Builds: Stats, Mastery and Aspects Guide

Updated 2026-09-08 · Last verified 2026-09-08 · Roblox Dungeon Lootr

No one can give you a numerically optimal Dungeon Lootr build, and any site that prints an exact stat split is making it up. ClickBytes has not published damage formulas, per-point stat values, Gear Score scaling or affix weightings, so a "40 Strength, 25 Dexterity, 20 Vitality" recommendation has no arithmetic behind it. What follows instead is the decision framework: which stat serves which class archetype, where the Mastery breakpoints sit, and how Aspects, gear affixes and Blessings layer on top of the base kit.

That framework is worth more than fake numbers, because Dungeon Lootr's standard dungeons run on an extract or lose all loop. Dying does not cost you a respawn timer, it costs you the run. That single rule changes how every build should be weighted compared to a game where death is free.

The four stats

Dungeon Lootr uses four character stats. Their roles are documented consistently across sources; their exact per-point values are not.

StatGovernsArchetype servedWhat is actually confirmed
StrengthPhysical damageMelee classesRole confirmed across sources; per-point value not published
DexterityRanged damageBow, gun and thrown-weapon classesRole confirmed; scaling not published
IntelligenceMagic damageCasters and magic-weapon classesRole confirmed; scaling not published
VitalityHealthEvery archetypeRole confirmed; health per point not published

Two things follow from that table. First, three of the four stats are mutually exclusive in practice: a Strength point does nothing for a bow class, so splitting your damage stat is strictly worse than committing to one. Second, Vitality is the only stat that helps every build, and in an extract-or-lose-all game it is the stat that converts a failed run into a banked one. Nobody can tell you the correct Vitality ratio because the health-per-point figure is undocumented, but the structural argument for carrying more of it than a respawn-friendly game would require is sound. More detail on each stat sits on the stats page.

There is one confirmed interaction between Mastery and stats: Shinobi's level 7 Mastery bonus grants +4 Strength directly. That is the only documented case of a class kit feeding a stat rather than a skill, and it tells you the two systems are not fully separate.

Build archetypes by class family

Dungeon Lootr has 33 classes after UPDATE 1 on 7 September 2026, spanning six rarities from Rare through Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Celestial to Exotic. ClickBytes has not published a per-class stat scaling table, so the groupings below are inferred from each class's visible kit, its weapon and its skill names, not from a published formula. That distinction matters and most competing wikis do not make it.

Spell Breaker, Cryomancer, Coyote and Dark Professor are the four classes added in UPDATE 1, all Exotic. Their full skill lists have not been published. Only three of Spell Breaker's skill names have surfaced publicly, which is why no archetype guide can tell you how to build it yet. Flame Bastion, an Epic class in the spin pool, is confirmed by five separate outlets. Unrestricted is Celestial, not Exotic, despite frequent misreporting. The full roster and rarities are on the classes page, and relative strength is covered on the tier list.

Shinobi: the worked example

Shinobi is the best-documented class in the game, which makes it the only class where a build can be discussed with real numbers. Its Mastery bonuses and defensive multipliers match line for line between two independent sources, dungeon-lootr.wiki and Roonby. It is a Legendary class from the spin pool with four skills: Flash Rend, Kurogiri, Guillotine Drop and Oni Rend.

Mastery levelBonusBuild implication
5Flash Rend +20%Your opener gets stronger first; Flash Rend carries the early build
7+4 StrengthThe only confirmed stat grant from a Mastery track
10Kurogiri +20%Mobility skill becomes damage, not just repositioning
15Guillotine Drop +20%Second damage skill comes online
17All cooldowns -5%Global uptime increase; benefits every skill at once
20Oni Rend +20%Finisher scaling, the last of the four skills to be boosted

Read the order rather than the percentages. Three of the six breakpoints boost a single named skill by the same 20%, which means Shinobi's damage does not come from one scaling curve but from raising each skill in turn. The level 17 cooldown reduction is the only bonus that touches everything, and it lands late. A Shinobi below Mastery 17 is a Flash Rend build whether you intend that or not.

Shinobi's defensive numbers are documented too: dodge multipliers of x3.0, x2.7 and x5.0, and a parry multiplier of x5.0. What each multiplier applies to is not documented, so we will not guess. Flash Rend carries two charges. Two charges plus a x5.0 parry is why Shinobi builds are usually described as active-defence rather than stat-tanky: the class has documented tools for avoiding damage, which reduces how much Vitality has to do.

Dreadlord is the second-best-documented kit. Its four skills, Crimson Rush, Dread Vortex, Gravefall and Rose Cataclysm, appear word for word on two independent wikis. Its rarity, however, is reported three different ways, so we do not state one.

The Mastery breakpoint template

The L5 / L7 / L10 / L15 / L17 / L20 pattern is reported as the general shape of Mastery progression across classes. It is confirmed in detail for Shinobi only. Treat it as the expected skeleton when planning a new class rather than as a promise: you should expect roughly six bonuses, expect them to be split between individual skill boosts and one global effect, and expect the global one to arrive late. Do not assume another class's level 7 also grants +4 Strength.

Mastery is also gated separately from player level. The Unrestricted unlock chain, confirmed by multiple sources, requires level 75, 500,000 coins, Honored One at Mastery 25 and 10 Heavenly Fragments. That is the clearest published example of Mastery being a build prerequisite rather than a bonus, and it means class Mastery on a class you may not want to keep playing can still be the correct investment.

What layers on top

Three systems sit above the base class and stat choice.

Aspects. There are eleven: Blaze, Sanguine, Umbral, Fulmen, Verdant, Ruin, Tempest, Phantom, Glacial, Aegis and Alacrity. An Aspect is rerolled with an Aspect Gem and is bound to the class you are currently on, so each class carries its own Aspect independently. One source reports a 21.5% chance of an Aspect arriving with a class spin, with Aspect Gems granting one guaranteed. Exact trigger rates per Aspect are not published; the 10% and 25% figures in circulation are community estimates. Full list and effect directions on the aspects page.

Gear affixes. Gear occupies three slots, Head, Body and Ring, each carrying a Gear Score and a set of affixes. The Forge offers four operations: Upgrade, Reforge (a Reforge Stone rerolls all affixes on the item), Protect and Enhance. Because Reforge rerolls everything rather than a single line, a strong item with one bad affix is a genuine gamble rather than a targeted fix. Confirmed items worth planning around include King's Crown, Living Armor and Supernova Ring, the three Relic crafted end pieces, plus Assassin's Cowl, Underworld Glaive, Anti-magic Claymores, Tidemaker Katana, Copper Ring and Wolf Ring. Material costs for every Forge operation are undocumented, so we do not list them. See gear and the forge.

Blessings. During a run you pick one of three: Nimble, Focused Casting or Bulwark. These are run-scoped, not permanent, and they are the one place a build can adapt mid-dungeon. Focused Casting suits Intelligence archetypes, Bulwark suits an extraction you cannot afford to lose, Nimble suits classes that already lean on avoidance. Their exact magnitudes are not published.

Class Items sit outside all of this. Cursed Shrine, Infinity Core and Shadow Monarch's Dagger override the entire skill set when equipped. That makes them a build replacement, not a build upgrade, and it means Mastery invested in your base four skills stops paying out while one is equipped.

What we will not tell you

We will not give you damage numbers, a per-stat point value, an item level chart, a Gear Score target, Forge material costs or Aspect proc rates, because ClickBytes has published none of them. Sites that print those figures are reproducing community estimates without labelling them. The maximum player level is 175 according to the official Roblox game description, Challenge Dungeon unlocks at level 55, and Boss Rush is recommended from around level 67. Those three thresholds are the only hard build checkpoints anyone can currently verify.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best build in Dungeon Lootr?

There is no verifiable best build, because ClickBytes has not published damage formulas, stat scaling coefficients or per-point stat values. Any site that gives you an exact split like 40 Strength / 20 Vitality is inventing those numbers. What can be stated with confidence is the decision framework: match your primary stat to your class's damage type, keep enough Vitality to survive an extraction, and push Mastery to the documented breakpoints.

Which stat should I put points into first?

Match the stat to the damage type your class actually uses. Strength serves melee classes, Dexterity serves ranged classes, Intelligence serves magic classes, and Vitality raises health for all of them. Because standard dungeons run on an extract-or-lose-all rule, Vitality is never a wasted point in the way it would be in a game with free respawns.

Does Mastery level matter more than stats?

Mastery is the one progression track with published, cross-verified numbers, so it is the part of a build you can plan around. Shinobi's Mastery is documented at levels 5, 7, 10, 15, 17 and 20, and those bonuses are flat percentage increases to specific skills plus a cooldown reduction. The same breakpoint pattern is reported for other classes, but only Shinobi's exact values are confirmed by two independent sources.

Can I change my Aspect if I get a bad one?

Yes. Aspects are rerolled with Aspect Gems, and the Aspect is bound to the class you are currently using, so rerolling on one class does not affect another. Exact trigger rates for each of the eleven Aspects are not published, and the 10% and 25% figures circulating in the community are estimates rather than confirmed values.

Do Class Items change my build?

Completely. Cursed Shrine, Infinity Core and Shadow Monarch's Dagger override your entire skill set when equipped, which means the Mastery bonuses you invested in your base kit no longer apply to the skills you are actually casting. Treat a Class Item as a separate build rather than an upgrade to your existing one.

What level do I need before builds start mattering?

Challenge Dungeon unlocks at level 55 and Boss Rush is generally recommended from level 67, so those two thresholds are where a loose levelling build has to become a deliberate one. The maximum player level is 175 according to the official Roblox game description, which leaves a long tail of levels after both modes open.
